Service Description

This course is required to apply for a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) permit. It begins with a safety briefing, followed by classroom instruction, and ends with a written test. After completing the classroom portion, students will participate in a shooting qualification at a live firing range. To successfully complete the course and earn the CCH Certificate, students must pass both the shooting and written exams. With the certificate, they can apply for their NC CCH permit at their county Sheriff’s Office. **Please note that this course does not include shooting practice or instruction; students should already have the skills necessary to pass the shooting qualification before attending. Ear & Eye Protection can be rented for a $5 fee. Prior to your scheduled class, you'll receive a comprehensive email 3-4 days in advance containing critical details for your upcoming experience.
