Earn Your Permit with Confidence The North Carolina CCH Course is the legal requirement for citizens who wish to apply for their concealed carry permit. This comprehensive course combines expert classroom instruction with a final shooting qualification to ensure you are prepared for the responsibilities of carrying a concealed firearm. What to Expect: Classroom Instruction: A deep dive into NC laws, use of force, and safety protocols. Written Examination: A test of your knowledge following the classroom session. Live Fire Qualification: A practical shooting exam at a local range. Upon successful completion of both the written and shooting portions, you will receive your official CCH Certificate, allowing you to apply for your permit at your local County Sheriff’s Office. ⚠️ Important Prerequisites & Policies Skill Level: This is a qualification course, not a "learn-to-shoot" class. There is no shooting instruction or practice provided during this session. Requirements: Students must already possess the skills to pass the shooting qualification. If you are a beginner, we require you to complete our Concealed Carry Pre-Requisite Course first. Equipment: Ear and eye protection are required for the range and can be rented for a $5 fee.
