Flexible Scheduling, Professional Training Our state-required NC CCH course is now available in a convenient two-day format. Designed for those who prefer shorter sessions or have busy schedules, this course breaks the curriculum into two manageable 4-hour blocks without sacrificing the quality of instruction. The Schedule: Day 1 (4 Hours): Safety briefing and intensive classroom instruction on NC laws and self-defense. Day 2 (4 Hours): Continuation of classroom curriculum, final written exam, and live-fire shooting qualification. Successful completion of both the written and shooting exams is required to earn your official CCH Certificate, which you will use to apply for your permit at your local County Sheriff’s Office. ⚠️ Important Candidate Information Skill Level Required: This is a qualification course, not a "learn-to-shoot" class. There is no shooting instruction or practice provided during these sessions. Prerequisite: Students should already possess the necessary skills to pass the shooting qualification. If you have no handgun experience, you are required to take our Concealed Carry Pre-Requisite Course first. Equipment: Eye and Ear protection are required and available to rent for a $5 fee.
